Measuring the Total-Factor Green Efficiency in China’s Industrial Sectors: A Parametric Approach

چکیده

At present, China’s industrial economy is facing a severe problem of green transformation, so the measurement total-factor efficiency has become one research hot spots. Combining Shephard’s distance function and metafrontier model, this study constructs parametric model in consideration technology heterogeneity. Stochastic analysis, which controls individual effects, used to estimate efficiency. This calculates Chinese sectors. Results show that there are significant differences between high- low-emission groups, level group systematically higher than high-emission group. Compared with pooled existing studies without considering heterogeneity, more intuitive realistic. In order achieve growth, suggests government should implement heterogeneous energy conservation emission reduction policies for especially encourage carbon-intensive industries improve use technologies, promote diffusion spillover groups. Based on reliable efficiency, productivity might be reliably explored as well future.
